Cataclysm 0.8 “Romero” Released!

CDDAKickstarter筹款结束以来第一个大升级的稳定版大灾变CDDA终于发表了。主要是增加了初步的图形模式。当然现在的图形模式还有很大缺陷,我在习惯了ASCII以后表示宁愿不用。关于汉化,从0.7开始CDDA就引入了基于po/mo模式的i18n多语言系统,现在中文化基本已经完善,而且更新及时。

o.8有大量细节上的改进。N多新物品被加入。在载具方面最有意思的是购物手推车,(丫还不承认这是看了《World War Z》里超市那一段的启发?)带上了购物车就等于随身了一个容量奇大的背包。最初这货还能撞击或者作为障碍,不过后来弱化了。

在这一版本中,城市的规模和丧尸的生成初量都是可控的。重口的同学可以在巨型城市里享受无尽尸海的冲击了。初步的农场种植系统也已完成。实在觉得在闹市区逃命没意思了,就去做个御宅的农夫,至少死不了。

不过呢在大灾变CDDA真正成为传世之作之前,至少还有两个问题要解决:

1.纵向向上的Z轴塔演绎:这个Z轴塔和向下的地下城最大的不同在于,地下城每一层是一个封闭的环境基本不存在和其他环境的交互。而向上的塔与外界存在一个落差参数,并且是开放的允许外界交互。这个系统在像老滚这种3D游戏里很好实现,但是在平面的ASCII里就很抽象了。

2.完善的NPC交互。可以说没有NPC的辐射就不是辐射。而现在大灾变CDDA里的NPC几乎就是逗逼和bug的代名词。好在我在查看翻译内容时发现开发组在这方面还是有完美计划的。

单机版之所以喜欢这个游戏,是因为这个游戏的完全开放的开发模式,任何有能力的人都可以在里面添加自己想要的内容。比如有个coder在游戏中添加了一个掌上游戏机来最为提升情绪的物品。本来这玩意和游戏的中花花公子杂志没啥大区别,但是后来就有人为这个掌上游戏机增加了真实可运行的游戏内容,贪吃蛇和仓库番。现在这个物品真的成为了游戏机,得分还和你的情绪值挂钩…
